First Touch Program

For U5 players on Wednesdays from 5:30pm – 6:30pm at Dyess Park

The First Touch Program (FTP) is designed to make sure kids receive quality instruction while having fun in their first year of soccer. The FTP is for kids who traditionally would play in the U5 age group. Kids will be split into teams with a trainer. They will be given a uniform color based on their group and meet with that same group each week. At the end of the season, there will be a big game so the kids can show off their skills and get a medal! So bring your family! Kids in the FTP will receive instruction from licensed and professional coaches from Dynamos Select Soccer, so the kids’ first coach in the sport will be very knowledgeable and have had years of experience in teaching soccer to kids. The emphasis of the FTP is for the kids to have fun and develop as a player.

U6 Girls & Boys Thursdays 5:30pm-6:30pm

U7 Girls & Boys Tuesdays 5:30pm-6:30pm

U8 Girls & Boys Mondays 5:30pm –6:30pm

Team Training for U7 & U8 teams (At Dyess Park on field 6)

These sessions are only for the first 3 weeks.

U8 teams Wednesdays 6:45pm – 7:45pm

U7 teams Thursdays 6:45pm – 7:45pm

Academy Program

Dynamos Select offers an Academy program for all U9 and U10 age players. The purpose of this program is to provide an advanced training program for those players that have the desire to learn more than what the recreational program can offer.

Junior Keepers

A session for junior goalkeepers (8-10 years) who are playing for Cy-Fair Youth Soccer Club teams will be held each Thursday at 6:30pm at Dyess Park. The young keepers will be introduced to rules of the game for their position as well as basic technique training, with lots of fun games and activities to improve hand-eye coordination. The first two introductory sessions will be free, after which boys and girls can join for a fee of $25 which covers once-a-week training through the season.
