Cy Fair Youth Soccer offers a RecPlus (Academy) program for all U9 and U10 age players. The purpose of this program is to provide an advanced training program for those players that have the desire to learn more than what the recreational program can offer.
New for Fall 2010:
First Touch Academy Mondays 5:30pm – 6:30pm (Dyess Park)
The First Touch Academy (FTA) is designed to make sure kids receive quality instruction while having fun in their first year of soccer. The FTA is for kids who traditionally would play in the U5 age group. For the first thirty minutes of each session, kids in the FTA will receive instruction from licensed and professional coaches from Dynamos Select Soccer, so the kids’ first coach in the sport will be very knowledgeable and have had years of experience in teaching soccer to kids. During the next thirty minutes, the kids in the FTA will be put in groups of three and play multiple games against other groups. The groups will be completely random and change week to week, so there are no set teams. The format will also allow for more playing time for the kids than they would normally have In a regular U5 game. The emphasis of the FTA is for the kids to have fun and develop as a player.
Future Stars: Professional training for all U6-U8 players (At Dyess Park)
